My adult son is handicapped with a bad back and could no longer stand at the stove and cook. I purchased this stool and it has been a tremendous help to him. He can sit at the stove or counter and prep food or cook and he can roll back and forth with ease. The chair was very simple to assemble and rolls well on our hard surfaced floor. It is not so fast to roll that he cannot sit down on it with ease. I would really recommend this stool to anyone who has problems standing in the kitchen. It easily adjusts to most any height you would need and is comfortable to sit on and lean back too. I am so glad that I found it at Amazon as it has been a great help to my family.
