The Metrokane Houdini corkscrew is so easy and effortless to use, it's practically magic. Lever action does all the work for you--so no yanking at stubborn corks or finding broken bits floating in your glass of Merlot. Simply place handles over the wine bottles neck, push down to engage the cork, pull up, and abracadabra--it's out. Another simple pull of the lever removes the cork from the screw. Ergonomically-correct handles are turned down for a better grip, and the opener is exceptionally comfortable to use. This is a well made corkscrew with a fantastic design. It is so easy to uncork a bottle of wine and only takes a little bit of strength...I no longer have to go searching for my husband when I want to open a new bottle. The only drawback is that it doesn't fit in my utensil drawer so I've got it stashed away with my appliances.
